The directing in this movie is great -- the first "battle" is shot really well, and something about the arrows makes them more realistic than in any other movie. Really looks like people actually getting shot by arrows. And the directing makes it seem much more realistic than a sterile "omniscient" directing where you see both sides equally and perfectly and there are no surprises.
Meaning lies as much
in the mind of the reader
as in the Haiku.
