If you mean the arc with Rob Lucci and his gang, that is quite alright. It is just an arc with a theme of beast transformations, not one that displays a weird fur fetishism.

Well, fuck that. Don't know what to say.

I stopped as soon as the arc I mentioned above was concluded anyway. It really became too annoying when I realized that 99% of all characters still somehow survived after receiving murderous beatings. And I am not following the manga.

And besides, they immediately had a flashback to their childhood to introduce an identical character to Ace then give him Ace's power and exact same relationship with Luffy. Because except of the voiceover, the soundtrack and some parts of the story, the game was completely illustrated and programmed within 3 1/2 years by a guy called Dodrill. And Dodrill was the iilustrator for Jazz Jackrabbit 2 back then
