A courier caught up with Tristan of Erzoth's warband. After being escorted to Tristan's tent, the letter-carrier explained that he had just come from New Ichamur, as he handed his parcel to Tristan.
Sliding the scroll from the leather tube, he recognized the seal as Uulmshar's personal crest.
The scroll read:
Ser Tristan of Erzoth, Knight of Lost Legion,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter. chadz has given me the sign I have been awaiting. Thus, it is time that I must leave your service. I look forward to meeting again on the field of battle, be it head to head or at my side.
I will start a pilgrimage back home, soon, to visit the monks that raised me. If you wish to contact me, a letter should be sent to the monastery of chadz at Nova Slezkh.
I have already spoken with Dutchy about my resignation. All of my ties are cut, and my soul is free to explore the world anew.
