E.B.O.N.Y is riddle game that you can play for free on the internet. I've played for almost a year and I'm still only on level 46. I should stress that it is more than a point and click game. Each level has you reach the next by clicking on something on the image or on the page, or typing your answer into the address bar. The hints can be found on the page, in the level's image, in the source code, in the image's file name, and the name of the tab. Often, the hints are hints to hints to completing the level.
This game is challenging, even the official game blog hasn't even been close to reaching the end of the game, after guiding readers through 80 levels or so. Sometimes, a single level will have more than one answer, and you will continue along the "path" that you chose. As the game progresses it becomes a story, and hints will no longer be on the page itself and you will to find them in the image, source code, etc. by yourself.

I'm not telling you the answer to the level example I gave you, so sorry lol. It's recommended you keep track of all level URLs and server passwords/usernames. I got stuck on a level for a long time because I forgot the name of a level I completed way,
way before. I finally got around by checking my history.
tl;dr It's a hard riddle game that you will abandon soon after playing it.
