I do not think they are the same, h3v1 does not have the name nor did he ever have h3vi, upon looking into the CD key of the person in the topic you linked, he had 200 names mimicking other users with a slight variation, looks like there could have been over 200 and the list cut off before the H showed up, also no record of a "h3vi" ever existing (we can see deleted characters), which is rather strange.

Unless I am reading into this wrong, there was never any "h3vi", only "h3v1"
