There is a battle tonight at 7:47pm pst, 10:47pm est. Should be fun, both armies are shiny with 1k troops on both sides.

Both sides will need mercs. So please join us for a fun fight.

Offering rewards to top K/D, best overall kills and anything that is especially awesome. Flag defenders that do well will also be rewarded (since its boring but vital).

Also will give 25k to best screenshot, from anyone. So if you see something cool, screenshot it after you kill someone. Or if you're on HCE's side, screenshot it even if someone is hacking at you. ;)

I will contact everyone here via crpg messages. If you get my message, reply saying you put up the trade and I'll send you your gold. If you think I missed someone (such as someone who stayed at flags and you thought did well), post their name and what they did. I'll send them some gold for a reward as well.

Highest kills: 1) Method_Mad_Holiday_SQUD & SKoT_Voncrow. Both tied with 21 kills. [60k - Holiday declined. Offer still stands. Voncrow still has not responded - 60k]
                     2) HoC_Lord_Calgacus with 19 kills for second. [sent - 50k]

Highest K/D ratios: 1) Firebus_Picks_Up_A_Bow with a 2.67 K/D. Noice. [60k - sent]
                               2) Method_Mad_Holiday_SQUD with a 2.625 K/D. Just barely under Firebus. [50k - declined but offer still stands]

For being awesome: 1) Egad stayed at FS and chilled there when HCE tried to break it. They did manage to get the healing tent which we did as a joke because we fucked up trying to set up the FS and accidentally did healing tent.But I disgress... so Egad gets 25k. [25k - declined but offer still stands]
                                2) General_S_Jimmy for helping me setup the FS and getting the stakes and shields up. [25k - declined but offer still stands]

If anyone reading this thinks I've missed someone who defended flags or the FS that deserves recognition, please say so. I know flags were focused on multiple times and people fended them off, so that deserves recognition if people stayed at flags to protect them.

The 25k for the screenshot I'm not sure I want to give out since the battle was far shorter than I expected but if anyone has a decent screenshot that isn't just screenshoting the kills/death screen, I want to see it.

Well let me be the first to congratulate you on your victory.  You lost one battle and won the next.  Four things win battles, and that is gear, troops, rosters and terrain.  And the last two you have no control over.  While I could not make it to these battles, I guess the last two were in your favour.  What comes around, goes around.

So while I mourn the loss of our army, I do appreciate your decency in these posts.  It is always a risk going to battle, but like Risk_TM, there is no point at swearing at the dice.  Congratulations again, but I will add, in the friendliest and warmest way possible, i hope to see your head on a pike.

Well met my pleasant forsworn enemy.

This battle was not as good as the last. I might have lost my previous battle but that was by far more fun. It didn't help that Marcus was gear bugged. I underestimated that aspect of it.

But yes this time terrain was better. It wasn't to anyone's favor except for cav. Which is good because there was no hill to defy me. Hills are the devil's mumps you know. Unless its my hill then its a blessed hill set apart from all other ground by being above it.

So I accept your congratulations and most assuredly you'll never have my head on a pike. Perhaps a longspear. But not a pike. They're fine weapons but my god man, they're far too long. I'll get vertigo up there.
