Some people have had this problem before.
Just cannot exactly remember what caused it.
Have you renamed that character by any chance?
If yes, try to rename it back to the older name, switch hero, change the name of your current one, and switch back again.
If you didn't, then just try switching heroes back and forth.
Or maybe you are lucky and one of the devs sees this and helps you out.
