Tournament Rules

1. Tournament Format

The tournament uses the following format:
Step 1: Group stage
Step 2: Play-offs
Step 3: The Grand Finals

1.1 Group stage

• The play-offs consist of a single elimination bracket.

1.3 Matches

• A match is played in two maps for 16 rounds total. For each map 8 rounds will be played, 4 rounds per spawn, the map must always be restarted after a spawn switch. If a game ends up in a tie a tiebreaker will be played.
• For the tiebreaker teams do not switch map the  or sides at the end of a match, a restart is needed however. The overtimes consists of 1 map and 8 rounds total, 4 rounds per spawn. Meaning you play the second map for a second time.
• Teams are allowed to 5 minutes break between the maps. The break time is subject to change if the situation requires it.

2.1 Team submissions

• Each team must consist of 5-7 players (Meaning no more than 7 players).
• Replacing players: Each team can have up to five replacements available after the sign up deadline.
• Each team must have a Captain, which is responsible for picking the team and communication with tournament admins.
• No offensive team names/team tags.
• Every player must use the nick name and team tag they signed up with
• A player from a team which has already been eliminated may not join another team which is still in the tournament.
• A player in the team has to be apart of at least 50% of the matches in order to get a prize.

3. Match Rules

3.1 Rules during a match

• Stand-ins/mercenaries are permitted during a match if the team fail to field enough players. However, during a match you cannot use more than 2 stand-ins.
    A stand-in may not be a member of a team active in the tournament
    A stand-in may not be a member of a team eliminated from the tournament
• Restricted to STF Characters only
• During a tournament match you must use your team tag
• All matches must be played on EU_cRPG_8_Events. Note: Always contact an official cRPG admin before a round to change the settings to the tournaments official server settings, (see article 6.1).
• Matches will be 5-a-side, the team may only use a maximum of two ranged, one cavalry and one horse ranged. No limit on infantry.
    Throwers counts as ranged.
    Horse Ranged counts as both cavalry and ranged.
• Both teams are granted 15 minutes to gather their players and begin the match after the scheduled time. If a team cannot gather five players, they must play the match regardless or forfeit the match.
• If one team fails to show up after 15 minutes from the scheduled time, a tournament admin must be contacted to declare the match as a W.O
• If there are any technical problems that prevents a team from showing up, it is up to the team captain to contact a tournament admin.
• Spectators are allowed during matches.

3.2 Substitutions

• Substitutions must join their team during the rounds and stay 'dead' when not used.
• Substitutions can be used freely during a match, but are under no circumstances allowed to spawn with more than 5 players on either team.
• Any team to have a 6th player spawn in a single round, will be considered to have forfeited the round.

4.1 Match results

• Always report the match result in the 'weekly deadline thread'. Screenshots are necessary in the end of each spawn switch/map end for confirmation.

4.2 Investigation for possible violations

• If a team suspects that the opposing team are breaking the rules, you shall play on regardless and finish the match. After the match the team captain may ask a tournament admin for an investigation. It is strongly recommended that you provide screenshots or records that may help the tournament admin in his investigation.
• Unjustified and repetitive use of this right may be sanctioned.

5. Other Rules and Violations

5.1 Forbidden software

• Any kind of the following softwares are strictly prohibited and will result in a ban from cRPG and the elimination of the entire team.
     *Aimbot
     *Wallhack
     *Autoblock

5.2 Behaviour rules

• Use common sense. Players must be respectful to the opponents and admins on both the servers and tournament board. Teams repetitively showing poor attitudes towards other players/admins will be sanctioned.

• Friendly Fire: 100% on Friend
• Round Duration: 240 seconds (4 minutes)
• Master of the flag: 120 seconds (2 minutes)
• Spawn timer: 15 seconds
• Spectator Settings: Free

7. Prize Pool

• 1: 100,000,000 XP Boost, In-game title announcement, Forum Title, Crowns
• 2: 50,000,000 XP Boost, +3 Item
• 3-4: 10,000,000 XP Boost, 1 Loompoint
• 5-8: 250k in-game gold.
