This market it's based on supply and demand.  when loompoints are at 400k and someones selling you a Masterwork Kreigsmesser (which i bought yesterday) for 2lp and 260k that's a great deal because the buyer saved 140k for a brand new last patch 2h which otherwise would have cost 3lp.  That's a +3 for 2 and 2/3 lp, good deal imo.

I've been playing this game for a long time and the market is a great way to trade my looms to use new cool gear in this game, especially since I don't have access to an armory.  Honestly it keeps me playing and adds another interesting often exciting mechanic to the game.

I've been told this was a result of Strategus silver being able to be traded at a rate of 1:10 to cRPG gold in the past. If true, this means everyone who didn't participate in Strat when that was implemented got shit on.

For all my dislike of Dutchy, there's nothing that I can say against him when it comes to this. Yeah his deals are out of my price range, but the fucker gives away like 600k+ a week in prizes. Seriously, this guy gives away gold and looms to players like he's allergic to it.

The problem is that in this day and age with the marketplace so dead, people who are selling items can ask for what might be regarded as a bad deal for the buyer simply because there is no competition. I debated buying a couple of Dutchy's offers in the past, but didn't do so simply because I didn't really want the weapons he was selling after I thought about it, the money wasn't an issue. #affluence
