So, it appears that the thing is running on a AR5007UG chipset (or ZyDAS ZD1211B, rebranded), and the latest drivers for that are here.
Not being drivers from Gigaset your device should change name and become a "Generic IEEE802.11g Wireless LAN" in device manager, but at least in theory it should work fine where it matters.

You might need to wait a bit after you clicked on the download button before it pops up the download dialog. I also attach it to this post for the sake of convenience.

It's tiny because it's just the naked driver (no installer to click on), so you need to update it manually. This tutorial.

Smart move buying new stick, wanted to suggest that but seemed like a dick move. Don't need the reward, not playing cRPG atm and when I start again will get free looms anyway thanks to being new player.
