Looking for help with clan banner

I have a clan with 2 friends and a few other people who are in it aswell. Now I would really like to be able to have an exclusive banner like all those other clans, I know it's costly but I think it would be worth it. Anyways, I have created an banner using microsoft paint, probaly not the recommended program but it's the only program I know when it comes to making an image or whatever...

Here is the banner I've made, now the major thing is that it dosen't look like anything from the banner I've seen from other clans, it's made in microsoft paint so I coulnd't really have done it any other way, I've never done this kind of thing before either so I have no idea if I've done something wrong, I did have the image set for 132p x 340p so that should be right I hope.

I would like some feedback, because I rather don't wanna spend alot of gold winning an banner at the marketplace and then not be able to actually use the banner for my clan. Sorry if my grammar was bad, english is not my mother language.

The banner idea looks like a good one
but I wouldn't recommend paint, I don't know what anyone else would recommend but Photoshop Elements I think is a good choice however it is a lot of money. You can get a free trial of it though if you want to try to whip up a couple of your own, or I'm sure plenty of friendly people in the community who know could give you a hand

This is my new version of my clan banner, using another software called GIMP 2, I thought it looked much better, but now the problem is that I can't win at the auction, it gives me a message saying I have lost the auction even though I was the last one to bid, I don't understand.
