when I try to join server I get the following msg:
"Critical Error EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION"
ever run into this before?

had this problem then updated MB on steam and it worked again,

Funny patch - problems are not fixed and you cant play.

Couple of things to try:

Disable/check your anti-virus isn't blocking the launcher/.exe -- a lot of the free stuff has false positives and too tough permissions.
Run the launcher/crpg_beta.exe as Administrator
Delete everything and try downloading it all again

My guess is that it's some anti virus blocking it for you guys.
