Ping higher than usually

Simple as that, my ping used to be 37-39 but since patch 0.4.0.1 (that smalls piece of crap, I don't even know what did that fix because it's not in Announcements thread) I have jumpy ping between 49-70 constantly jumping, what happened, did servers went underground, is chadz doing something illegal so he had to go into sewers or something ?

Same for me,i had 24- ping usually now it's 40-55.But it's as laggy as 100-120 ping,and most of time agiwhores pass through my character and kill me
