Yes, except that if you use morningstar on horseback without shield, it will count as 2h.

Now I am lv34 (21/24, 12skillpoints converted), and I have 0 ironflash.
I will gain 3 skill next year, when I reach lv35
What do you think? Should I chose more ironflash, or ride sumpter horse with 2H weapons?
Unfortunetali here are no 3 riding skill horses, but on lv36, i can gain 6 riding. (maybe three years from now)

Go for IF,sumpter isnt worth it.

Sumpter is really slow and weak, go for 3 IF it will help

6 HP might be alright, but i'd probably rather have some shield skill. IF isnt that good unless you dump a lot of points into it, and if you dump lots of points in then its usually better to convert the skills to stats and get more str and PS if possible imo. With 3 points i'd probably get shield skill

Yes I would say shield skill to prevent annoying archers. Also if you grab a shield and wear it on your back you gain the shields armor bonus on your back. You can become a turtle

How does the worth of IF per point increase when dumping more points into it?
1 Iron Flesh is exactly half as good as 2 Iron Flesh. Putting additional point into this skill is equally worth it no matter how many you have already.

Shields skill, in opposite, is pretty much useless unless you get at least 4 points there to be able to pick up most shields from the ground.

I vote for getting 3 IF.

Half of something that is nearly worthless doesn't make it half as good. It has to be worth something in the first place. Having 15 extra HP might save your life while having 2 is unlikely to. The usefulness scales as you put more in

You wont be able to pick up all the shields you see, but some is better than none, and you can spawn with a half decent one
