I didn't play on a server, which is probably just a frag fest and you actively have to look on the forums for one, but in the hour or so I played it didn't seem like there was anything to do but scavenge for supplies. Zombies weren't an issue anymore after I started one shotting them with a machete.

It's quite a bit of pvp indeed, we've played co-op for now but even then we haven't build a base yet.

Dayz+ minecraft with rust kind of gameplay I think. Atleast I hope it will be like in the vids of psisyndicate and others, I don't like the kill on sight kinda gameplay in dayz.
