lol i use the estoc on my stf and i do just fine with it 0: its not a bad weapon but it def isnt super strong since of the swings but but the wonky 2h stab animation plus 32 pierce is pretty amazing, maybe its just because of my normal build that i do well with it but but but for fuck sake it isnt underpowered!

It's a great weapon. Base stats are only -1 compared to the heavy bastard sword, but the small differences in length, weight, and stab-focus help offset that. I don't think I agree with those calling it terrible.

HBS ain't looking too great either atm. After the -1 speed to the Longsword type weapons and +1 speed to a lot of other 2hs the SoW has become the new "OP" 2H sword.

Just because the bastard swords lost 1 speed doesn't mean they "aint looking too great", they are still excellent weapons.

They lost 1 speed while all the other good swords gained 1 speed. 2 speed is quite a bit. They used to be the best weapons for dueling, good for siege and average for battle. Atm they are bad in all situations compared to SoW except for when fighting in very tight places.

But to be fair, SoW is OP compared to most 2h swords that can stab. Only swords that can match it is the Claymore and the GS, but even those falls a bit too short.

Saying they are bad just because they are not as good as whatever 2h you consider to be the best is stupid. They aren't bad just because they are not the best. Besides the SoW has one of the worst models in the game. It's large and shiny, easy to follow.

Regarding the way you "follow" a swing depending on the weapon's shape: I cannot see the regular Espada to save my life.
