Indeed, but the reality of the situation is that NA wouldn't have even hit 10 teams, and it seems like we would have been lucky to even hit 8 (a minimum for tournaments.) It's not really much of a tournament with that small a number of teams, so I can't really justify handing out rewards. It's now 3v3 because many teams weren't signing up, simply due to the fact that we had these "mega-teams" that many people didn't find worth competing against, as well as the fact that fewer players required per team will itself allow for a larger tournament.
I'm not pleased to be doing this, but I already had this possibility in my mind when I made the initial 5v5. It's just unfortunate that NA can't support this type of a tournament due to its size.
