I must admit , i like crafting in every game and the more complex it is , the better for me.
Now , is there a chance to introduce crafting in cRPG ?
Answer: "Maybe yes , maybe not"
This is not PW so we need to introduce materials in a non-harvestable way or better ...looting (imagine a plated knight that starts to macro mining in EU_2 lol).
Ideas :
- Add random material (coal , linen , wood etc...) at the end of a round.
- Random lottery is given to the winner team.
- Random Mat is given randomly between the guys who contributed mostly on the battle.
- Only 1 Mat is available per round.
- Who got the Mat can't have another one in the next round (even if he rejoins or change team).
- Mats could have rarity on (+1 Linen , +2 Linen , +3 Linen).
- To craft a weapon/armor you need a certain amount of them , for example :
Long Bardiche -----> 30 wood / 15 iron / anvil
Mighy Long bardiche -----> +3 (30 wood) / +3 (15 iron) / +3 anvil
Legendary Long Bardiche ------> +3 (30 wood) / +3 (15 iron) / Celestial Anvil ----> Radament's Long Bardiche (no stats involved).
- Anvil / Forge etc... can be bought in the shop and upgraded with loom points or looted randomly from battles.
- The less people on the server , the less quality is the looted mats
This are the main idea for crafting. (obviously it's only an idea , don't take it too seriously)
here are additional ideas:
- Rare chance (0,001%) to loot a weapon at the end of the round
- Rare chance to loot a crate (openeable with a key in the shop) (yes it's like cs:go system)
- Crafted Armors could be colored with dyes bought in shop
i know most of these suggestions are easily exploitable but meh , it's just another way to call people to play just not for the x5.
