ruins are the best because of multiple reasons, there is space for everyone to do whatever they want. Imagine some newcomer trying to bulid to se what is that, peoples will burn him on stick before he realize what they want from him, cav duels will be pointles on such small map, there is just way to many drawbacks with that map.

So take you horsies outside. There's a bridge and plenty of room out of the arena. And the good news is, it won't be a long run on a horse!    We burn newcomers at the stick stake regardless, and visitors can't see pics , please register or login
 ... err.. I mean 4 construction sites. You don't have to build a catapult if you don't want to. People usually bring their own construction site. I'm just placing construction sites and material sites to make it cheaper and quicker (of course, I can't test whether or not they will function without them being server side, but I'm hopeful).

As for what was a tiny text that I've blown up, I made this map based on what people posted in this topic. It's been here for 2 weeks. If you had an opinion or suggestion, you've had plenty of opportunities to give it. Just saying.

Feels almost a little too empty without the walls though. I might throw just one set back to the side or near the center that isn't too large, but large enough for a 1-on-1 fight between 2h/polearm weapons (since they have longer reaches). That or just some random trash. Not much. Maybe a few rocks and boxes or something.

So yeah, it feels too empty without something there, so I threw in a much smaller wall set. Only enough room for 2 people to duel inside it, and plenty of room to fight around it. Plus a few rocks and some steppe grass.

Guess i could throw in thranduils map, ruins probably never got actually chosen to be the map for duel anyway.

Rebel is a  changement hater.
The good thing is, thranduil can take your opinion/consideration, and fix the map with all the whishes he receives.
We should thanks him to make a dedicated map.

I was talking about arena(there is only one true arena in  warband) , not about map that you made.
I like your design and i would support it but topic is about arena and i really dont like that idea becaue that map is way to small for that game mode even if we all love to play battles there.
