Well, truth to be told, we are all experienced players and got quite bored of playing normally. What keeps is going is to adapt to the everchanging situation and the many abnormalities. We need more invisible armors (it should be allowed to use them, though, I want to roleplay Rayman), flying carpets, black holes created by siege tower, arrows stopping in midflight and ladders to the sky.
Ok, I mostly agree with you there's too much whine, a few concerns are certainly right, though.

As one of the item balancer devs I don't care at all about the whining. It actually amuses me because the blatant lobbyism and/or obvious stupidity of the "customers" show every time. For balancing insights I use my countless chars of almost every possible "class" or hybrid to get the feeling myself what is wrong and what is right. Ok, they are of course only gen 1 but that's why I stay out of heirloom balancing.

The only decent whine post I have seen so far was the throwing comic and it will be rewarded.

The devs probably don't take you guys seriously when it's a "whine" post anyway. I'm sure they have the willpower to resist such bickering and make their own decisions about balance. It could also be that this whole section of forums isn't taken seriously and they put it here to stop getting so many PMs and emails with whiny "suggestions."
