How is score determined?

It seems like to me its based on how much health you take from enemies.
Is this correct?

Yes, plus some proximity bonus (50% iirc). Teamhits substract double (but since friendly damage is halved).

Lets say i am an archer and i shoot an enemy 50 meters away and i recieve 10 score for that. Does the friendly archer next to me receive 5 score? or does the friendly 2hander next to the enemy i shot receive 5 score?

Ha, good question, I think it would be the 2her, because otherwise archers wouldnt have a reason to complain about lack of proximity bonus
