Hey retard, one reason celebrations occur on Christmas Eve is that the traditional Christian liturgical day starts at sunset - another is that Roman Catholics and Anglicans traditionally celebrate Midnight Mass, which begins either at or sometime before midnight on Christmas Eve. This ceremony, which is held in churches throughout the world, celebrates the birth of Christ, which is believed to have occurred at night.
Do you also celebrate the new year on the first day of the new year, or do you start the festivities on the night before so you can be there when it kicks in? If you are, well sorry to break this to you, you are missing the party.
Dont get me wrong - I couldnt care less when people celebrate christmas but since all the guy did was to write "merry christmas" - feel free to wish him the same and try to
Don't get your panties all in a bunch mate, I was just poking some fun. I only downvote Arn because I can't stand reading posts in friggin yellow regardless of what they say, not even when it is Christmas time. I know people start Christmas celebrations on Christmas Eve, that still doesn't make the morning of the 24th Christmas. Much like the morning of the day that has New Years Eve is not New Years. If you are going to make such a post just after midnight as to announce it being Christmas you should at least do it on the right date, after that midnight mass of yours.
