I know only armor weight reduce your Wpf, but what about weapons? It doesn't matter right?

weapon weight doesn't affect your wpf.

It affect block stun for your opponent if your weapon is heavier than his.

Also affect your running speed.

and like Sequel said, heavier an weapon with crushthrough his, better are his chance to crushthrough.
A lot of people in the NA community know that Dach rages and in the process of his uncontrollable rage, he tends to kick people.

You've been warned!

yep deffinately, its very noticable if your using a weight 1.5 spear and blocking a persian war axe or a GLB (weights 3.75+) from a more powerful held swing.

equipment weight effects movement speed too. make the test: go in plate with a one hander on duel server. then after you died get the same plate and 1h again but with 3 heavy bord shields - it will slow u down like a retarded turtle :p

From my understanding, shields have their own speed penalty that is seperate from weapon weight.  I havent seen any math or formula behind it, but it seems pretty unfair, like a baseline 5-10% speed reduction for carrying ANY shield

I think if you have one shield only the weight affects you. If you have 2 shields the second shield will weigh you down as if you were carrying like 6 or 7 shields of that type. Not an exact number but you know what I'm getting at.
