21/21 for lvl 32 and above. For lvl 30 I'd say 21/18 or 18/21.

My personal favorite is German Poleaxe. Decent speed and high swing damage. Elegant has too low damage, and normal poleaxe is a bit too slow. Still, you should try them all out and then pick your favorite.

And German Poleaxe looks badass.

21/21 is an amazing polearm build. 3 WM, 7 ath, 7 PS (at least that's why I did). With the new patch it might not be as effective with that low amount of WM, but the high amount of agi could make up for it.

I'd wear medium weight armor, nothing over 10k cost.

If you go medium armor with german poleaxe how bad is the upkeep (like how much do you gain overall)?

50 body and head armor (only gloves loomed) with a poleaxe will be about 2000-2250 max upkeep.

I also recommend going for an even build. 18/21, 21/18, and 21/21 will all work.
