Hello, I am currently playing as a hoplite (I do 10x better in defend the viscount) and before I go try it in pvp, I would like to know if this would be effective for a hoplite:

Thanks!

Edit: I am currently using Battle Fork, Heavy Board Shield, Broad Short Sword and Throwing Daggers.

try out some different weapons

a bigger shield (2 slot) can be useful when you arent that good in blocking, but a second weapon is useful in these clusterfuck fights.
at least you should bring a dagger or so :)

What about trying:

Ashwood Pike
Huscarl's Shield
Italian Falchion

This is what I use on my hoplite.
