At what point to cap WPF and power draw?

In theory, I'm planning on sticking with nomad/tartar bow and keeping quick. Where should I cap WPF and power draw, if at all? Light armor.

Also, how badly does a helmet and gloves penalize me? I know gloves are 2x and helmet 3x, but when they're light, does it really matter?

I'm not an archer so I won't offer any advice regarding that, however I will say what I know with the gloves and helmet thing. As far as I know there's a set weight (I believe it's 10lbs or whatever unit) at which point your effective weapon proficiency decreases. This is dependent on the weight of your body, boots, gloves, and head armour all together. So when they say it's 2x and 3x they mean by the weight stat of that item. So as long as you keep all your armour under 10lbs you don't have to worry about it. I'm not sure just how bad your proficiency is affected by being over the limit but I'm assuming it's fairly negligible at lower values. Someone else could probably explain it all a lot better.

Edit: Actually forget my post and take a look at steevee's guide, that'll tell you much more than I could

Last time I checked:

Gloves counts x 4
Helmet counts x 2
Boots/Body counts x 1

Nomad/tatar bow is way too weak on its own to deal considerable damage with low PD. I suggest you get at least 5 PD and 150 archery WPF. Any less and its a waste of skillpoints IMO.

Just get a longbow and atleast 6 PD , you won't be hitting HS all the time so it's best to hit hard when you hit.

Really, that guide is awesome for pure archer. I prefer hybrid builds so normally I go 18/21 for archery/1h with longbow or 15/24 for horn bow/2h. With both builds you get around 145 to 150 archery (enough) and about 100+ in melee of your choice. Good luck brother. If you want specific builds just PM me.
