Bought it for Showdown Effect mostly, but I'm sure I'll enjoy the Leviathan Warships and EU 3 as well.

I'm up for Dungeonland too :p

Leviathan Warships is worth the cost. I haven't gotten to multiplayer yet, still doing the campaign.

Heard you need more than one attempt for the campaign.
You start, see ennemies, kill them, and when you finish the mission, other ships spawn in the same map. So you "need" to know where they'll come from, place mines or whatever, to effectively crus them. Is it true, or just my friend being not that good ?

Bought it for that game anyway, but have yet to installed it. Just busy watching the trailers over and over.^^
[14:36] <@chadz> when you login there is a message "your life as horse archer was too depressing for you. you decided to commit suicide. please create a new char"

That hasn't been my experience. If you complete the mission, it ends. Unless "destroy enemy fleet" or "protect the science ship from the assault" is the mission. If that is the case, well he didn't finish the mission. I just finished one like that. I actually lost all my warships, but there was a shore defense station that you needed to repair, and I still had the science ship alive and a repair boat as well, neither one with offense, but I used them to lure the enemy warships into range of the base defenses, they wiped them out for me and I won the mission. I had to go scouting around to find the enemy in the fog of war because one was just sitting out there. Found him and lured him in to destruction.

Also, you gain points for your fleet after every mission completed, so maybe he forgot to build up his fleet? Some good customization available once you get some of the larger ships and decent points to build them up. Going all big ships can be a mistake though, especially if you stack the heavier weapons because a small fast ship can get under your range and take a large ship down without being able to be hit.

Fleet building and proper use of it is very important. Currently I have a "Spear" scout ship with the ultra short range beam weapons that has to get close, but takes down even large ships very quickly, like a couple turns or so. 2nd is a scout with short range guns to protect the spear and capitol ships from small fast gunboats. 3rd is a heavy long range artillery ship that can take out most boats very fast at a long range, but is very vulnerable when small fast boats get under its range, so it needs an escort. 4th is a heavy armored ship with short and medium range guns and 2 rail guns mounted on the back. It can be used either for offense or hang with the heavy artillery ship to protect it, while still doing long range damage with the rail guns.
