Ping :D

Hello all
I live in Rome and my ping to EU 1/2/3 change 26 to 51... Sometimes ping is 26, often 45/50.
Now im looking in the option of the game and in the tab "Multiplayer" there is an option: "Randomize Client Port (Raccomended unless you are behind a fir(ewall?)"
I have a tick on it
I use win firewall, its the moment to remove the tick and put the TCP port?

I surmise it means a router firewall, but I, too, would like to know the answer.

Having randomized ports ticked is not related to ping

Turn off purr pr0n download? Even if you father or sister does that - it still damages your ping

I believe the only reason you'd want to randomize what port the game is using, is so that people won't be able to hack into your network as easy.  If they know what port is allowing traffic through, it makes it easier to break into your network.

Check http://www.pingtest.net/ when you're experiencing problems, it may be 'jitter' caused by your ISP.
