Some thing wrong if you start playing good

I bought a black armor it is the best armor in the game and at first it was then I think it get nerf with no reason I know it. when I wear it one handed guys at must they have low dmg they hit 2 times it is nonsense. black armor has 60 armor and durzina armor has much less armor but I try it my friend hit same dmg with same wapon to durzina and black black gets more dmg what is the reason?????? some one can explain it???

IM not an expert but I think it is because armors in this game unlike in other games are not to decrease the dmg recived as much as to increase the chance of bounce. I may be wrong tho.

Tougher armour does help but it's certainly a balancing act between speed and reliability.  Go to infinitum.dyndns.org/crpg/calc.htm to see precise scoring of weapon damages against different armours.  By my calculation, I deal an average of 8.5 damage to Goretooth with my masterwork sword.

Well enough armour can make you shrug off arrow shots. Plus keep at your suit of black armour, since armour heirlooms got a buff it seems. Shrugging off arrows is the main benefit.

Armour in melee is not that big a difference when fighting with armour killers (high cut or anything with pierce or blunt), but can make low damage weapons glance forcing your opponent to actually have to make his blows count.
