Hello guys I currently have 9powerthrow and 102wpf..but the game still tells me I do not have enough wpf.

Does the throwing weapon do less dmg now...?

Thanks for listening

I don't know the exact numbers, but I believe it takes away 13 (it might be 14) WPF for every point of power throw you have.

So if you have 10 power throw, you need at least 130 WPF to be "proficient".  You can still throw your weapons, but you wont' be able to pick up anything from the ground (well if you have 102 WPF you should still be able to pick up most weapons on the ground still I would think, but couldn't pick up anything that required 8 powerthrow (which I don't think anything does)

also keep in mind that armor affects your "effective" WPF, so even if you have the required 13 (methinks) per PT/PD, game might say prof is too low in case you wear more than a tunic... so better get some more WPF than the bare minimum, because once that message appears, your accuracy is reduced to virtually zero.

Yes Hirlok is right.  I think it's something like the first 12 weight of armor does not count towards lowering your WPF, but everything after that effects your WPF (sorry don't know how much).  Also, your equipment items (weapons, siege equipment, projectiles, shields, etc) do not count towards lowering your WPF, but they do add to the weight that slows you down.

You should increase your wpf as soon as possible! One, you won't be able to pick shit up, Two, not accurate at allll, Three, you are not getting your 9 PT with that small amount of wpf. With only 100 you'd be better off with 6 or 7, because that's all it is counting as actually.

Since he has 102 WPF, wouldn't he still be able to pick up 6 or 7 powerthrow weapons (since 6 or 7 x 13 is less than 102)?  Or if you're over the limit, you can't pick up anything?

The goal of Strategus battles shouldnt be to deprive your enemies of players, but to have full roster both sides and have the gear/tactics/strategy win the day rather than lack of merc support.
