Transfering items to and from skip the fun character - possible

I seem to be able to transfer $$$ and items from alts and main to skip the fun chars, but not back again. Is this right?
My STF char has more than 10k gold - for some reason I thought that made a difference?

Can someone set me straight here?

gold -   there always has to be 10000 everything over you can transfer

items -  can only transfer to STF not back unless loomed items

Fuck, just transferred a whole bunch of stuff accidentally :/

Just sold the stuff. Oh well, wasn't anything super high cost. At least I know the rules now, so will be careful next time transferring lol.
