The "Events" board is currently a child board connected to the cRPG General Discussion, and most people rarely (or never) browse it. It's almost a futile effort to attempt to organize an event since so few people will view your thread.
With a legitimate events board listed on the main page with all the others we may begin to see some really fun community events like tournaments, theme nights, clan scrimmages, etc. I think that there are many people in the community who would be willing to donate some time and effort and even gold to fund and organize a fun event if they knew that people would actually attend it.
