[Question]Speed Bonus from horses

So! Sumpters don't provide the speed bonus, well at least they didn't in V3. So if you have sumpters mixed in with your horses will they negate the speed bonus? Or will the sumpters "fake" being fast and add no bonus at all?

Or... will they magic up some speed?

If it's magic up some speed, is there a number of horses required to cause them to magic or could it be just one?

Could I for arguments sake have 5000 sumpters and one rouncey and then get the speed bonus from the rouncey?

Or do I need one rouncey per troop for the speed bonus and then all the sumpters are just pack animals?

Also when will be able to use armless zombies as pack animals?

u need more horses than troops and than crates to get that sweet sweet bonus:
this is the speed ranges from last strat3 (*these are made with 1 troop, so since we all have at least 100, we will all be a bit slower than these numbers):

 Sumpter horse *1.3, (if u have crates it's 85% of the 1.3 bonus)
 Every other horse above * 1.8 (if u have crates it's 85% of the 1.8 bonus)
So without considering numbers of troops speed should look like that :

44.55            speed with more horses than troops, and equipment worn directly, without any crates
36,8              if you have more horses than crates and troops
32.5              with slow horses (sumpters),
27.6              if you have more slow horses than crates and troops
25 to 22.5     with equipment worn directly (depends on the troops and weight of the equip you wear), without any crates
22                 with more horses than crates, but more troops
18.75 to 10   if you have troops carrying crates.

Now, this may not be entirely accurate but I've noticed that i generally travel at about 27 with any sumpters in my army (w/ crates) at all, even if the vast majority of my horses are rounceys or better. I could be wrong though, hopefully this helps more then Haboe's uselessness.

Well imho the horse speed system is well messed up.
With more horses (20 sumpter and the rest Rouncey or heavier) than man and crates I still do circa 27 meters / min (with 800+ men) and the speed is constant untill I have less trade goods (not crates) than horses.

So it means the formulas are  khmm ****** .
I'm vulgar anyway.
