go to steamapps > common > mount and blade warband

then find the file

(click to show/hide)

 right click it and hit run as administrator

Cmp , repair didnt work. And as Gurni asked if im using StigUI , i am , perhaps it is the problem , i tried uninstalling it but im still getting errors only on EU strategus battles.

Repair removes StigUI, if you're putting that back after there's nothing I can do about it.
