On a related note, is not the winning team always defenders? That's been my experience at least. Attackers, if they get their shit together at least slightly, can manage to cap 2 or 3 points. But the whole thing? Never seen it. I posted this in another thread:
"Only way to fix conquest mode is to have attackers be organized and not a random zerg of pubs trickling in little by little or wandering the entire map pointlessly. AKA never." Attackers need to group up and force a decisive fight at the flag points, but people have the siege reflex of trying to grind down defenders little by little, which obviously doesn't work on conquest because of the identical respawn timers for both sides.
It is more similar to Strat sieges than to regular cRPG sieges, but there is no leader, therefore no plan or organization. Even if there was a designated leader I doubt most pubs would give a shit. The old leader system attempt in cRPG battles showed that. Strat battle organization is possible because of almost always obligatory TS presence for all involved, there just isnt a simular way to communicate orders in random pub games.
