Dayz SA not realistic at all.

In reality every house would have tins/cans of food, fluid as well. Every garage would have tools you could use as weapons. There would be bicycles/skates/skateboards  at virtually every house. I could go on but ill leave it to the rest of you for now.

Except nowhere in DayZ does it say how long ago the zombie apocalypse started. If anything, DayZ houses have unrealistically much stuff, almost all of it would already be looted before you got there.

If you want "realism" of that scale you should try out Project Zomboid instead, you'll spend all your time running around finding anything but food & water and eventually starve to death.

The only way to survive is to have some group take you in and give you stuff, but most likely you'll just be killed/mugged for whatever other items you've found along the way.
Things don't exist simply because you believe in them, thus sayeth the almighty creature in the sky!

This, Project Zomboid focuses much more on survival aspects and keeps it more realistic.

Old post i know but Dayz means Day zero (not zombie) so that means they should be lots of fresh gear.
Look forward to my next post in another years time :)

You're actually wrong, the zero stands for YOUR first day of survival.  I'm not sure how it works still, but back in the day letters on the side would tell you how many day's you've survived.

So Project Zomboid is cancer now too? It was actually a fun little game back in the day when there was no MP or all that stuff.

Huh what, you can just ignore MP? Zomboid is doing fine imo, last played a few months ago.

Well the last time I played it multiplayer was probably not even in development yet. But yeah if it's SP and MP then I'm okay with that. It just sounded like it's only MP now with all that retarded PvP bullshit that's happening in these Zombie-survival-games.

Nah ofcourse not, they're developing both and you're not forced into MP :) Tho MP could be fun playing with a friend or two (no random players).
