After opening cRPG i get the error message:

       unable to open file modules\cRPG\Resource\texture_face_gen_brf

happens each time i try to load.

After I installed this new hotfix I started having the same issues. Even before hand I couldn't get the new patch to work. I treid deleting the whole cRPG folder and replacing it with the new dl'd one

Yes mine worked fine prior to the hot fix, I've downloaded, the hot fix numerous times, the latest patch and full cRPG folder still no joy.

Sounds like your download got corrupted. You can either redownload the whole patch or try downloading only the file that causes the error (here) and put it into your "Modules\cRPG\Resource" folder.

Redownloading the patch hasn't worked, neither has the link you posted. thanks anyway.
