I do it sometimes, not as much as others :)

With this turn speed "buff" to the longsword I may begin doing it more again!
It is amazing what you can do with a MW longsword (40 cut 100 speed) and 9 PS.

Most longsword users now have left swing->strafe+turn left->rightswing on macro or something. I'm using a 100 speed weapon myself now, and I still can't prevent being double-hit whenever someone does that to me. It's pretty infuriating.

Only counter I've found on siege is to just run along hugging the castle walls on my right side. The 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock quadrant is a dead zone for 1h-ers, so forcing that area to be masonry is the only solution I've found. Maybe the turn rate buff will allow me to overhead people in that quadrant, but that's still risky.

2h users don't understand what it's like to have half their screen be "people in this area will kill me if I try to attack them".

Ah yeah, crowd the shielder's sword arm.  Need to remember to do that more.

Anyhow you do just fine Phew :)  And this turn speed change will make 1h even more valid than it already is.

You get to test it in strat battles as well in duel  :mrgreen:

I read the thread title and expected a whine thread about how it's unfair how some weapons can turn faster than others.

Happy face when it was just to make the same change to every server.

This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

This is the only change besides Paulstagger removal I'd like to see added to EU_4.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.
