No ingame text

I have a problem. I can't see any text ingame, that box that also shows who killed who. I can see it in console (L) but how the hell do I get my textbox back?
I tried reinstalling crpg, default controls

Do you deleted the %\Documents\Mount&Blade Warband path ?

if not, make a backup and try it ...
