1h? 2h? polearms? What are you talking about here exactly?

In general, high str (and high ps) negates the 'glancing' effect you get with cut damage againt high armor. But any weapon is 'good' for a high str build, really. Be more specific and maybe i can help.

The problem is even if you are number 1 in NA you are still only number 467 in EU or the worst in AUS(number 17)

Yep the crushthrough weapons are great ofcourse. They require a special playstyle of blocking and countering because of their low range. And because you'll have high str and thus low agi and low atheltics, it's not easy. So stick with teammates and crush those enemy shielders.

On the other side the big, long 2h swords like the German Greatsword or even the Flamberge are really nice weapons also. The high str and ps turn those in to 1- or 2-hitting machines and the great range compensates for your low movement speed.

So crushthrough and high range are nice with high str.

From experiences with my alt which is 9 ps and will be 10 ps @ 9 agi.
1st always be aware that ur blocktimings must be close to perfect.

2nd is to fight in a sorrounding that fits your char e.g. hide behind corners, backstab all in all, get into close range.
Whenever you ve achieved that, never hesitate and be aggressive. High pressure on the opponent leads to mistakes that can be punished!!!

Swords: Either choose decent basespeed e.g. 2handed or heavy greatsword (recommended heavily)or completly leave them out. You are fairly slow anyways, no need to get a slow sword.

Reason is that assuming you dont attack a total noob your initial attack will be blocked and after that you will be in trouble. Greatswords are not the best solution in that case.

Maces and hammers: You cant do anything wrong with those, specially when you attack from close range or suprise your opp. -

Polearms...well, they can clearly achieve better dmg. output.

There is tools like great long axe, great long bardiche or generally speaking every polearm you d consider having good or really good dmg!!!

In general, stick with hammers and maces. Unmatched effectivity with high ps!

Sidenote: The coolest ppl. choose the spiked mace...!!!
