Did you read his (or my) posts at all, or is your understanding a bit weak atm? I'm bitching about how 1h cav is so much better than lance cav atm. Gurnisson played with great lance/1h cav. Meaning probably with no wpf in poles whatsoever and using great lance when he sees good opportunities to rape infantry over. 1h when you drag some poor stab lancer to a corner where he can't do anything (or simply just slash the horse's head from a convenient angle)... That's what I would do.

Yes Gurni you are right it's not necessarily "best of both worlds" but in my opinion pretty close to it at the moment
. Yes heavy glance is an expensive joke now. Especially unloomed (don't want to even imagine). There is basically no reason for me to use even the +3 one because normal lance delivers better damage and speed with the cost of 10 reach. Not to speak how much cheaper it is in gold.
