Some experienced players are abusing balance mechanics for their own interest to pay less maintanance and earn more gold.

This trick always starts near the end of 2nd round,When they estimate their own team will lose several rounds in a row, they will switch to spectator (sometimes suicide to spectator after exp & gold tick ), waiting for autobalance. When teams are autoblanced at beginning of the 3rd round, one or several players of the winning team are dragged into losing team, they will try to join the winning team, and I guess they have  a roughly 50% chance to achieve that for teams were already autobalanced.  if they failed, just try it again.  75% chance of success to be in the winning side at the begining of the 4th round.  Even if they failed to switch side, they have chance so get important players of the opposing side transferred to their own side.

I suggest:

The one that switches to spectator from the two teams (not by joining the game), whether dead or alive upon switching, should be stuck there for at least a whole round.

The one that does not respawn in time should be kicked into spectator. some high-level charactors can enable opposing side have several more level-30 charactors and their names just are red for entire round.

It's very, very old trick, mentioned few times on this forum already. And it works a bit differently.

Best solution to solve this is to make new slot for every player (set it as 0), and when player respawn in team for the first time in round (this slot is at 0), write number of his team to that slot (1 or 2). Then, when counting multi, don't check current player team, but team which player respawned for the first time (from slot). At round end reset those slots to 0 for every player.

It should be similar mechanism while counting if teams are fair or not in battle game mode. At the end of respawn time in battle, use some troop slot to write current number of players inside team1 and team2. Then when using "are teams fair" script, check this slot, not current number of players. Because right, if there are not many players on the server, you often don't get multi at round end (teams not fair). Even if teams were fair when round started, losing team often loses 2-3-4 players mid round. And that's enough to fail "are teams fair" checking script. It often happens at EU_4 and EU_5, so servers with not so many players playing same time. But from time to time it also happens at EU_1, so fixing that would be nice for every battle server.

I agree that if you don't spawn for a round, it should auto-move you to spectators.  Having dead people on teams can really fuck up the balance.

But your numbers are wrong, auto balance happens at the beg of the 2nd round.

Many people can't respawn in time in the first round and The auto balance at the beginning of 2nd round usually shifts many players, only after that, one can read the situation and guess which side can get X3
