Ingame Faction Leader Messages

Something basic where the leaders could leave daily orders that people in their faction would see when signing into Strategus.

Wouldn't have to be a full forum or anything, just a message that pops up in the middle of the screen when the player signs in even - like a message of the day on Ventrilo or Teamspeak.

Would help faction leaders with communication of orders to members.

Why can't they just leave their message on Ventrilo or Teamspeak? You know, since those programs already have that feature...  There are better things for the devs to focus on.

Because a lot of members dont always check those.

Im preety sure the same members who dont check forums or ts messages once a day will still ignore a strat wide broadcast message.

I like the idea, maybe at some point they'll be able to incorporate the c-rpg.net message system into the strategus site along with the battles list and bring the faction/location/hero search more to the forefront too.  Make it all more self contained.

Our faction does reply all spam messages on the forum to keep everybody up to date but it gets tricky whenever we have more than 10 people active.
