Allow Switching Mains

Please allow us to change our main characters. The primary reason we should be allowed to do this is because it's VERY annoying to be unable to support your team in Strategus at a usable character strength because you happen to be very low level at the time.

Let's keep people in the game, not on the sidelines. This is especially important because Strategus is about to get a lot faster with the upcoming changes for Strat 4.


There are many ways to accomplish this result:

1) You can only do this once every six months. This balances the desire to push people to focus on a character.

2) You can acquire the ability to switch a main character by "Hiring a Champion" via auction.

3) Flat fee. 50k-75k or something.

Flat fee is too low, a 400k would be better.

That way this could be a nice money sink, which c-rpg dearly needs.

No. I'm perfectly happy with my main in regards to cRPG. 2H'er is easy to pick up and get decent at with a balanced build. I'll be retiring soon and going back to polearm or archery.

I'm not happy about two things. I want to continue playing an archer in Strategus battles. I don't enjoy 2H'ing, especially because I do play quite a bit on EU with bad ping. I also want to try out different builds with my Gen 9 character with the XP bonus... but this is detrimental to my ability to play Strategus successfully.

It's incredibly frustrating to be forced to play a game and help your team/clan in a role you don't really want to play.

There are alternatives to this, of course. Another Fallen made a great suggestion a long while back: just let people pick a level 30 build exclusively for Strategus. Everyone is the same level in Strategus that way. I don't care about the XP; give it to the cRPG main character or get rid of it entirely, I play Strategus because it's fun... unless I'm stuck at level 20.
