Looming horses will give your horse more maneuver which means it will become easier to ride

more riding= more speed + more maneuver + more horse charge damage

No I mean does it raise the difficulty?  Might be a stupid question.  Also, do you really need polearm wpf if you're playing cav, or can you put it all into 1h or something for when you're dismounted?

No

As 1 handed/ polearm cav i would put 50 wpf in polearm and the rest on 1 handed, but if you like cav duels i would put more wpf in polearm, using light lance and lance imo doesn't really need much wpf, using heavy lance does need some wpf to become effective otherwise it can glance alot. I played 1 handed Cav last gen and I put all in 1 handed cuz my lance is the great lance

No, still the same difficulty to ride.  AFAIK the only time it makes a piece of equipment go up in requirement is for some weapons, it makes them "heavy" moving up the difficulty one.  Horses don't do that though.

Also Alex your riding skill barely changes how fast you ride or how maneuverable you are.  I can't really tell the difference between level 3 riding on a rouncey and level 6 riding on a rouncey.

I'm a lancer cav, but have 1h and shield WPF/skill for on foot, and for sieges (strategus mainly).  I split my WPF 119 and 118 at level 30 (6 wm).  I personally like having WPF for my heavy lance, I'd rather have it extended as quick as possible.

I used to be an agi riding whore, riding 3 compare to riding 8 onward is alot different, riding 3 is just too slow. As riding 10 with champ rouncey I ride faster than champ destrier/ arabian/ a little bit close to champ courser, and with that kind of crazy build i can couch alot of people to death and top score, it was epic but you always die from ranged very easily

I can tell the difference between 5 and 8, but anything below 5 feels the same.

that is mainly because you don't have champ rouncey. I don't feel any difference at all from riding 3-6 using a normal rouncey, but if you loom the horse to champ you will notice a massive difference. At 6 riding with +3 rouncey you will run faster than 5 riding lancers (with champ destrier), on 8 riding with champ rouncey you will run very fast and you can always escape from courser lancers very easily. On 10 riding it's just epic, and the chance to bump kill someone is largely increase if you use heavy horses
