Interesting and Disappointing. It should be you can repay the amount you last purchased it and if you don't within a 24hour period then it goes up for grabs. That way the insane economy and smaller clans won't affect this. I think it's crazy that clans require money... Whatever! I just find it unfair that you can lose your factions Flag because your a broke badie... Urgh Clan donation system must be implemented! As well as a better system for renewal!

Are the banners separate from the normal ingame banners? So I can still use the ingame banners from the alternate pack to have my old banner? Or are the normal banners overridden by the new clan banners? It affects balance of course, but I don't mind about that so much as I'm usually the only Wolper around 

I don't mind what the banner the others see on my char btw.

It is because there is a limited number of banners, you don't want all of them getting taken up and then staying taken forever, so that new clans can't get any.

There are only 8 slots open atm out of 147... I think it's 147 some one correct me please.

So out of the 30ish active clans there will be plenty of slots left over, I reckon maintenance costs will be pretty low. At least this way random banners for long dead clans won't be an issue.

With this people that no longer need a banner won't renew and people that won't one will be able to get one with out lots of faffing about.

Yes but there will be a good chunk going to Normal Banners still. IDK I just think that I should get a free banner to be fair... Whatever though! Ima sink 100k and buy one and put two guys humping on it (But it won't show anything don't worry)

Yeah I was thinking the same. 24hours to repay so dead/unactives get boned and that way price is solid or you can not buy back and risk geting lower or higher. Aswell as the fact I don't want uber rich badies buying them all to troll....

There are a couple of siege maps where if the attacking team make a catapult in the first 20 seconds (which can be done with coordinated effort, a lot of it) can rip the doors down 50-60 seconds in.
