He had a guy directly behind him with about the same athletics. He would run continuously for about 30 seconds, turn around, take one shot that would miss, and keep running. Everyone in the server was asking him to quit delaying.

I'm not going to argue. It wasn't poll abuse, the poll was rejected. I think that tacking on an extra 3 minutes to the end of the round to wait on this guy to run a marathon is unnecessary.

Anyways, I shall apologize if that will help.

i ran for 10secs at most between each shot, i fired all my shots then meleed like a good sir since i could not find arrows. Dont see the problem with that.

Ban for at least 12hours, just look at similar threads.

It was hardly 10 seconds. Mods, please look at the logs. Multiple people were asking him to quit running. He even bitched about his arrows not connecting. He wasn't hitting anything, the delay was significant, he had no chance of winning, and he ran in circles with four guys chasing him. You can argue playing your class all you like, but at a certain point, where you're hitting no arrows, they're right behind you, a loss is imminent where you should just stand and fight, and I believed you crossed that line, and submitted a poll due to others urging you stop.

It was not poll abuse, I thought it was delaying as far as I could tell.

regardless, I did apologize despite not feeling I did anything wrong.

One of us is arguing rationally about their actions. The other is demanding a ban like an angry child.

As I said, I felt you crossed the line and initiated the poll to see if the majority of the server agreed with me and the vocal minority who were calling for your ban. They didn't agree, and the game went on.

IN fact, in the next round where you were last alive, you quit running and fought when you were last alive. I think that deep down you realize that running in such a way does not help your team, it doesn't help you, and all it does is bore people and waste their time. You won't admit this, because you're angry at the moment, but deep down you know it to be true.

Aderyn, you are mostly a nice person (I've never seen you rage like this before, it comes as a surprise to me) and that is why I apologized because I honestly did not mean to upset you.

I'm going to work now. Hopefully the mod who reads the request here will realize it was not a rage poll, and when they read the logs they'll see I was hardly the only one with the opinion that you were intentionally delaying.

As I was there I feel I should weigh in,  what he was doing was exactly the same as a HX as far as time between shots plus kitting, while annoying it HAS been established as NOT delaying. 

Now a 12 hour ban SEEMS to be a bit much in my eyes maybe just a reiteration of the official standpoint would be enough.  I'm no admin, nor Tugboat/Aderyn but it seems this is a bit much for the situation such as it was.

As much I know everyone hates waiting for the archer to die (since they like to kite)

OK: running away and shooting enemies that are reachable by projectiles
