CRPG online store and person inventory

The weapon slot on my person inventory is 4/4, but in game is 5/4.
That's because the shield didnt show the number of slots on the web store and inventory!!
Im a  freshman, and I dont know the rule. But this is a true misleading for people like me.
I spend 13900 gold to buy a heavy crossbow and now I cant grab it?

Heavy Crossbow for example takes 2 Slots. Bigger shields above a certain weight (Im not sure, 8+ something, but those Norman Shields are still 1slot I believe) also take 2 slots (for example the Huscarl Shield).

What items do you rty to equip?

All the shields in web store dont have any mark of weapon slots. Mislead me.

Any shield above 8 weight is going to be 2 slots.

yes, this IS very confusing, please fix it - add slot information to shields.

and while you're at it, add secondary mode information to weapons too (damage, speed, etc)

+1 to shields having the slots they take on the website. This would be a real improvement.
