Why big axes have polestun?

There is no sence at all in that. They already have bonus against shields, with some you can block croushtrough weapons, they have big range, big dmg and polestun. Why polestun? I am fine with spears having polestun but hafted weapons and axes shouldn't have polestun.
You should remove pole stun from that weapons.

To make up for the horrid animations that they have compared to two-handers.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

Maybe it is originally thought as a good idea, because in reality big axes and poleaxes were used really differently than 2h swords. I think it is thought to simulate hooking which makes you kinda like stunned.

This video you see some of those moves:

It's the only argument I find somewhat reasonable in favor of polestun. Don't know how it would be affecting gameplay if it was removed... Would it become boring? Would it become better? Would polearms be in bigger disadvantage even if stats are buffed? I don't know...
