I know this might not be possible but it could be super fun!
I think on holidays everybody should get a significant boost in level. Something outrageous. Make everybody level 50 or something for the day and keep experience and gold progressing. The gold and experience will go with the person into the next day and of course repairing will still weigh down in total gold count. This would be a really fun event on holidays for the servers and everybody will be on equal playing grounds. Allow the player to spec out only one time w/ no respeccing allowed on that day incase they mess up. After that is done, let the fun begin!!!! It is only for the significan holidays like the ones listed here.
